What is seed cycling?
Seed cycling is a functional nutritional practice in which seeds are ingested as a source of essential nutrients in sync with each phase of the female cycle.
Phase 1 comprises the menstrual + follicular phases and employs the nutrients found in pepitas and flax seeds, like iron, zinc, magnesium, fiber, lignans and omega 3s.
Phase 2 comprises the ovulatory + luteal phases and employs the nutrients found in sesame seeds and sunflower seeds, like vitamin B1 and B6, folate, niacin, manganese, calcium and selenium.
Our snack balls contain a serving each of these valuable seeds, which have been used to improve the regularity of cycles and lessen the severity of cycle symptoms like PMS.
